Sam Mineer Receives ASCE Engineer of Merit Award

On January 22, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Inland Empire Section hosted its 2026 Annual Awards Banquet at Northern Quest Casino—and we’re proud to share that our very own Sam Mineer from the Spokane office was recognized with the Engineer of Merit Award.

This prestigious award honors outstanding contributions to ASCE and to the local engineering community, and Sam exemplifies both through his professional excellence, leadership, and service. Whether through his technical expertise, mentorship, or involvement in the engineering community, Sam continues to make a meaningful impact on our profession.

Several J-U-B team members were in attendance to cheer Sam on as he accepted the award, and it was especially meaningful to see him celebrated alongside his family. Many heartfelt and well-deserved words were shared about Sam’s dedication and the positive influence he has had on ASCE and the Inland Empire engineering community.
