Overview
J-U-B’s Electrical Engineering Group provided electrical engineering design and construction management services for this project that transformed the former DeArmond Sawmill site into a mixed-use educational college campus environment. Working with our civil engineers and a local landscape architect the project included new streets, pedestrian trails, lighting, and irrigation improvements to North Idaho College’s Education Corridor.
The project consisted of:
- Street lighting (51 luminaries)
- Pathway lighting (112 luminaries)
- Flag pole illumination
- Entrance signage
- Irrigation system
- Energy efficient LED lamps
- Designed with dark skies, controllability, and pedestrian safety
- Zone control with provisions for future remote dimming
- Idaho Grow Smart Award
