Project Overview
J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. was authorized in early April 2021 by the LeGrow Water Company to proceed with the design of the Canal Penstock Replacement Project located near Wallula, Washington. The project addressed the replacement of 10,700 feet of 54-inch steel irrigation pipe that had reached the end of its service life.
Procurement and Construction
In May 2021, J-U-B solicited bids for the procurement and delivery of polyurethane coated and lined steel pipe with wall thicknesses of 1/4″, 5/16″, and 3/8″. Pipe installation was completed by C&E Trenching LLC, with construction beginning in early December 2021 and concluding by early March 2022 to ensure timely delivery of irrigation water for the farming season.
