J-U-B deployed sUAS base LiDAR to map eleven sand bars in the Hells Canyon Wild and Scenic River section of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area along the Idaho-Oregon border. LiDAR was deployed to pierce through the heavy vegetation and map the various categories of substrate materials that make up the sandbars.
