On September 19, J-U-B hosted its Young Professional (YP) Summit in Spokane, Washington, bringing together more than 150 of our YPs from across the company. This exciting day of connection and growth showcased the skills and leadership potential of our next generation and reminded us how important they are to J-U-B’s culture and success.
The J-U-B YP Summit is designed to unite young professionals from across our offices, creating opportunities to network, strengthen technical and leadership skills, learn more about the business side of J-U-B, and discuss the future of our company. YPs include employees who are under 35 years old and/or have fewer than 10 years of professional experience. Every YP across J-U-B is invited to attend, regardless of role or career path.
The YP Mission
The mission of the J-U-B YPs is simple: to encourage collaboration, growth, and opportunities for future leaders of the company. Each office has its own YP group that organizes local events and initiatives, and together they form a companywide network that partners directly with leadership to help shape the company’s future.
The goals of the YP Summit are threefold:
- Value: YPs gain a deeper understanding of their value to the company and feel hopeful about their future at J-U-B.
- Alignment: YPs leave the Summit with a stronger sense of alignment with J-U-B’s direction, culture, and processes.
- Connection: YPs build meaningful relationships with peers across offices and disciplines, strengthening their J-U-B network.
Inside the 2025 YP Summit
This year’s Summit featured a mix of technical skill-building and leadership-focused sessions, all rooted in J-U-B’s core values. Every presentation tied back to our guiding principles: Our Future, Our Goal, Our Advantage, Our Values, and Our Purpose. Attendees especially appreciated the mix of technical and leadership tracks, as well as the openness of speakers who shared personal stories and experiences.
Pulling off an event of this scale required an incredible team. More than 30 people worked behind the scenes to coordinate programming, communications, graphics, social events, and a service project. Their dedication made the Summit an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The 2025 Young Professional Summit was a powerful reminder of J-U-B’s commitment to growth, connection, and purpose. Investing in our people today is not just about the future, it is already making a difference across the company.
