On February 13, 2026, J‑U‑B ENGINEERS, Inc. proudly supported the Magic Valley Chapter Regional MATHCOUNTS competition, held at the College of Southern Idaho. MATHCOUNTS is a national program that encourages 6th–8th grade students to strengthen their problem‑solving skills through live, fast‑paced math competitions. Chapter winners advance to the State competition in March, with national finalists competing in Washington, D.C. in May.
This year’s Magic Valley event brought together 11 student competitors from three local schools. The competition is coordinated by the Idaho Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) and relies on volunteers from across the region. The Magic Valley Chapter is led by Josh Baird, Public Works Director for the City of Twin Falls, with support from volunteers representing the City of Twin Falls Public Works Department, the College of Southern Idaho, Swensen’s Markets, Clif Bar, and J‑U‑B Engineers, Inc.
J‑U‑B became involved through our long‑standing relationship with Josh Baird and the City of Twin Falls, and our team was excited to contribute to an event that inspires future STEM leaders.
J‑U‑B is proud to support programs that encourage students to explore engineering, problem‑solving, and teamwork.
