J-U-B teams in Oregon and Washington closed out the 2025-26 award season with two significant recognitions from ACEC-OR and ACEC-WA. The two awards honor projects that showcase technical excellence, strong partnerships, and meaningful community impact. These awards reflect the dedication of our project teams and the trust our clients place in us.
The City of Umatilla’s Pedestrian Bridge Project received a 2026 Honor Award from ACEC-Oregon, recognizing the project’s innovation, community value, and collaborative delivery.
The award was celebrated at the ACEC‑OR ceremony, where J‑U‑B team members joined the City’s Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director. The event doubled as a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with one of our top municipal clients.
Following the ceremony, the award was formally presented to the Umatilla City Council—another moment that highlighted the shared pride between the City and J‑U‑B.
In Washington, the Port of Pasco Reimann Industrial Center Project earned a Best in State Gold Award, one of ACEC‑WA’s highest honors.
Although the client could not attend the ceremony, J‑U‑B ensured the project was represented on stage. The award was later presented to the Port Commission, where the Port shared the recognition publicly and celebrated the success with their community.
This project’s recognition underscores the team’s commitment to delivering solutions that support regional economic development and long‑term growth.
Both awards highlight more than engineering excellence—they reflect the strength of our client relationships and the value of showing up. Through attending ceremonies, presenting awards at public meetings, and engaging with community leaders, J‑U‑B continues to demonstrate professionalism and partnership at every step.
A special thanks goes to everyone involved in preparing the award submissions and coordinating with ACEC. These recognitions are the result of thoughtful teamwork across offices and disciplines.
