J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. was honored to support and attend the 2026 WTS Spokane–Coeur d’Alene Gala, joining more than 230 transportation professionals, partners, and students for an inspiring Winter Wonderland–themed evening. This year’s event marked the chapter’s largest gala ever, celebrating industry achievements, future leaders, and meaningful progress across our profession.
We’re proud to congratulate Shawna Conery, who was recognized as the Spokane-CDA WTS Member of the Year. Shawna’s leadership within the Spokane-CDA Chapter, her service to the transportation community, and her commitment to the WTS mission make this award incredibly well deserved. Her impact and passion for elevating women in the industry are felt not only in the chapter but throughout our teams at J-U-B.
“Shawna Conery’s creativity, reliability, and passion have transformed the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene chapter communications and strengthened WTS’s presence locally and beyond. Her work ensures our mission is visible, inclusive, and celebrated—hallmarks of a true Member of the Year.”
– TSG Team
“Shawna has this amazing way of turning every project into something brighter, more creative, and a lot more fun. Her work as Communications Chair has given our chapter a fresh voice and a whole lot of personality. We couldn’t be happier to see her recognized as WTS Member of the Year!”
– Riannon Zender, TSG Regional Lead
“I’m so grateful for the amazing group that is WTS Spokane/Coeur d’Alene and everything the chapter has given me over the past 3 years. I chose the song Grigio Girls by Lady Gaga as my walkup song because it is about finding your group that you can lean on, whether that is to dry your tears or celebrate your wins, and I am so lucky to have been able to find my own group of Grigio Girls within this Chapter. We have so many incredible mentors, leaders, and friends that I would have never had the opportunity to meet if it wasn’t for this group, so I’m so honored and lucky to have found my place within this community, and I wouldn’t give it up for the world. I love being the Chapter’s communication chair, and I’m excited to continue to contribute for many years to come, to see how we continue to grow as a chapter, and to make sure everyone is able to find their own group of Grigio Girls.”
– Shawna Conery, TSG Project Designer Lead
Our J-U-B team played a meaningful role in making this year’s gala a success:
Brian Smith, Karie Gullickson, and Angie Comstock represented J‑U‑B with excellence, contributing to award presentations, chapter messaging, lively emceeing, and the overall success of the program. Huge shoutout to Angie, as this completes her third time as the chapter Gala Committee Chair, leading the efforts to organize and bring this amazing event to life.
Hannah Grimm, Riannon Zender, and Shawna Conery were active throughout planning and implementation, helping behind the scenes to ensure the event ran smoothly and professionally—an essential part of the night’s success. Hannah and Riannon also led the scholarship raffle, selling tickets throughout the program and selecting the winning tickets at the end of the night.
We were so proud to have strong representation from our team who attended to celebrate Shawna and support our local WTS chapter: Cory Baune, Stu Barton, Hannah Anderson, Tracy Oritz, Geremy Russell, Brannen Reasor, and Braiden Markham showed up to support our local team and organization. Their presence highlights J‑U‑B’s commitment to mentorship, industry involvement, and supporting one another’s accomplishments.
This year’s gala showcased the momentum and growth of our local WTS chapter:
Keynote speaker Erin Jones delivered an empowering message on leadership, resilience, and shaping the future — a highlight of the evening.
J‑U‑B is proud to continue supporting the WTS mission of creating equitable, inclusive opportunities in the transportation industry. Congratulations again to Shawna and to all chapter leaders who made this year’s gala a success. We look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and community impact with WTS Spokane–Coeur d’Alene.
