Inspiring Future Engineers: J-U-B’s Moscow Office Hosts STEM Summer Camp Students
August 06, 2025

The J-U-B Moscow office recently had the pleasure of welcoming students from the University of Idaho’s National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) Program. Funded by the Idaho Transportation Department, this summer camp introduces middle school students to careers in STEM, with a focus on transportation engineering.

During their visit, students toured the Moscow office and got a hands-on look at the world of engineering. While our office specializes in environmental engineering and consulting, the team gave students a broader glimpse into the field, showing tools like Cast-In-Place pipes, surveying equipment, and well casings, and discussing how engineers help solve real-world problems.

The visit was part of J-U-B’s ongoing commitment to supporting STEM education and inspiring the next generation of engineers. Students learned about the different career paths in engineering, what a typical day looks like, and the skills that help engineers succeed.

A big thank you to the Moscow team for helping make the visit a great experience. We were honored to be included as a supporter of the NSTI program.
