Each employee contributes to the development of the company’s Strategic Plan. From these discussions, we create a Vision Picture that states our core purpose, our values, and our goals. Each employee understands our culture, company direction, and what they can do to contribute.
Our eight-person board sets policy for the company. Each board member understands and is committed to the Strategic Plan. The policy they set is guided by, and is consistent with this plan.
Chuck specializes in planning and engineering project for airports throughout the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West. He has significant experience and expertise in traffic and transportation engineering, street and highway engineering, and project management. Chuck has more than 30 years of transportation-related experience with communities, counties, airports, highway districts and state highway departments.
Lee has worked with communities, agencies, and districts on a variety of projects related to infrastructure and planning of public facilities. Projects have included water resource development and delivery systems, wastewater collection and disposal, and transportation. Prior to joining J-U-B, Lee was employed at both the municipal and county levels; experience that he has used to help communities identify and address infrastructure needs.
With over 25 years in the industry, Tim’s primary responsibilities include risk management, contract review, insurance, claims analysis, and mitigation. He also focuses on corporate strategic planning, market positioning, key recruiting and retention efforts, Area Manager coaching, and other opportunities for company growth and development.
Troy’s area of expertise is in agricultural, municipal and industrial water and wastewater systems. His other specialties include Water Conveyance Systems, Sewage Treatment Systems, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Conservation, Pipeline Design, and Industrial Process Water Treatment. He served as J-U-B’s Kennewick, Washington Regional Manager from 1999 through 2004.
In 1991, David and Larry Perkins (1932-2017) co-founded Gateway Mapping, Inc. (GMI) David is proud of how their idea blossomed into a successful business. He is most pleased with the quality of individuals he selected that now make up the senior leadership of GMI. Now, David spends his time managing the operations for J-U-B. This includes Information Technology, vehicle fleet, reprographic fleet, physical facilities, and more. He also spends time as a senior adviser to GMI offering decades of experience in the industry.
Vince specializes in site and urban planning, street and highway engineering, land and site development, hydraulic engineering, and storm drainage engineering. His projects have included distribution centers, operation and maintenance facilities, “Big Box” retail stores, shopping centers, hospitals, schools, medical office buildings, and master planned residential communities.
Brian has over 20 years of experience in urban and rural transportation projects and municipal infrastructure engineering planning, design, and construction. He has worked on and managed several large civil engineering projects specifically related to urban transportation infrastructure improvements and has been involved with downtown revitalization studies and construction plan improvements throughout the Intermountain States. Brian also has extensive experience in large irrigation pipeline and canal improvement (lining) projects that have involved federal funding through the Bureau of Reclamation.
Steve specializes in water and wastewater utility support. His key expertise includes industry trends, permitting, IDEQ coordination, TMDL support, water and wastewater utility planning, funding, low energy treatment options, and design review. Special projects include development of water and wastewater treatment plants with grant funding as high as 75%. Steve has also served in a number of volunteer capacities including as the president of the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association.
Mike specializes in Transportation Engineering, general Civil Design and Project Management. He has more than 32 years of transportation planning, design, and construction experience. His areas of expertise includes traffic engineering, transit, roadway design, site design, truck and freight infrastructure, bicycle and pedestrian design, transportation planning studies, environmental processes and NEPA documents, municipal street design, hydraulic studies and design, highway design, and construction administration. Mike has particular expertise in helping clients implement Alternative Project Delivery including Construction Manager as General Contractor (CMGC) and Design-Build.
Brenda has worked for over 25 years in both public and corporate accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Idaho and an Accredited Pension Administrator. Her responsibilities include preparing the financial statements, cash management, retirement plan administration, state registrations, and stock policy accountability. She is a member of the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
