We strive to create an atmosphere of learning and sharing that enables our employees to thrive and contribute. Our recent recognition as #13 nationally, as one of the “Best Civil Engineering Firms To Work For” in 2006 by CE News (100-500 employees), recognizes our workplace practices and continued focus on the future as they relate to employee satisfaction and retention.
Our offices are linked by “Technical Teams” who provide various areas of expertise. These teams share knowledge broadly and help each other solve problems for our clients. When an individual needs help, they have a wealth of knowledge that they can tap locally or regionally.
We encourage our employees to be community leaders through participation in various local and regional philanthropic efforts. All of our 15 offices are active within their communities and contribute their time and effort. J-U-B provides funding to all of our offices to support these efforts.
Our management philosophy is to keep the organization as ‘flat’ as possible. This enables our employees to have access to senior management. We also establish mentoring relationships to aid our new hires with their transition and to further their career aspirations.
