In 1997 J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. was faced with the challenge of providing excellent services in engineering while also managing public involvement and addressing conflict for its engineering clients. J-U-B had the foresight to address this challenge with the creation of The Langdon Group. Today, The Langdon Group continues to support J-U-B and its clients, building community solutions through cutting-edge expertise in public involvement, strategic communication, and facilitation and mediation services.
The Langdon Group is made up of a team of professionals with deep experience in managing the public process at all levels, from high-profile and controversial public hearings to personal, intensive one-on-one stakeholder interaction. The Langdon Group’s philosophy is to conduct public involvement that is value-based, objective-driven, and problem-solving oriented.
We believe that by engaging the public as early as possible, we can foster critical partnerships and project support. By working with the public in a continuous and meaningful way, we are able to reduce uncertainty, maintain project support and develop advocates to help share project information with others.
