Portneuf Medical Center
Client: Davis Partnership, P.C., Architects – Pocatello, Idaho
Overview
This project involves the expansion of the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. This includes the design of a perimeter “loop” road around the entire site; utility design (water service, storm drain, sanitary sewer); grading and design of parking lots; retaining wall layout; development of construction and utility plans. Unique design challenges include: how to maintain utility service to existing hospital while construction activities progress; how to maintain access to the hospital during construction; large cuts/fills.
